You have probably deployed your application with crystal report on to remote server and that server have not crystal reports installed. Find CRRedist2005_x86.msi on your local computer and isntalled it on the sever and atleast the error which the title of this post will be gone with wind
You will find the CRRedist2005_x86.msi at this location if you are using VS2005
Drive Letter:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\BootStrapper\Packages\CrystalReports
Happy Reporting 😉

“DLL ‘F:\Baskar Sir\13112010\Retailsoft\RetailSoft\bin\Debug\CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll’ is attempting managed execution inside OS Loader lock. Do not attempt to run managed code inside a DllMain or image initialization function since doing so can cause the application to hang.”

thx, the problem is solved, but after that i got another error message on my windows 2008, ( object reference not set to an instant of an object ) . its works on my pc (win 7). its there any other configuration in win 2008 to allow loading crystal report file?
July 29th, 2011 at 9:57 am
Hi GP, am happy that soloution did work for you,
the error “object refrence not set” one come probably when
1. report object is not defined in your code. You need to instatiate it with code like
cReport Cr = new cReport();
CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = Cr;
CrystalReportViewer1.DataBind();
2. It can also happend that you havent not deployed the Crystal Reports .NET runtime files on that machine.
Hope that helped.
